If you've played Diablo 3 for awhile you can probably agree that it definitely needs an expansion. Being a Diablo fan ever since Diablo 1, I can say it certainly is a must. The game is great in so many ways and disappointing in others, but it seems one of the best ways to improve the game is to simply add more story content and more detailed quests.
Today's gaming environment is different. Of course there are many different grips people have about the game but I think most of them can be solved with an expansion. Well good news, Blizzard will be doing a Diablo 3 Expansion Beta for sure.
Confirmed from a tweet from the Chief Creative Officer Rob Pardo https://twitter.com/Rob_Pardo/status/292897114801987585. When asked if there will be an expansion for D3 and Blizzard All-Stars, he replied, "we will do betas for both for sure".
There just isn't any date yet. This is not surprising coming from Blizzard as they are notorious for withholding dates.
What are some things you would like to see in the Diablo 3 Expansion?

Diablo III Jobs: Help Develop The Game
If I knew I had the skills in PC game development, I would certainly apply for a job with Blizzard. I have always been a big fan of the games this company produces. Diablo II LOD will always be my favorite and I have yet to find a game that can keep me coming back to it over the years as Diablo II Lord of Destruction has done.
Blizzard has posted some new jobs on their job board. They are looking for some new team members to help with the development of Diablo III. I am writing this to help spread the news in hopes their searches reach the correct talented people.
I can be honest and say that Diablo is addicting and I am addicted to it like a drug. It truly has that effect one me. I am a true fan. I could have been addicted to crack but instead it is Diablo. I have the most interesting set of feelings about Diablo III. I know that it is going to be great and can tell from the what I have seen so far. This is why I know I am screwed.
I fear that it is going to captivate me and I will be stuck playing it all the time like being addicted to a drug. At the same time I am extremely excited along with others and this will be the first time I buy multiple copies of a PC game at the same time. The reason being is that I want my 3 computer network to be ready for online play with the other crack heads that are addicted like me.
If you are a developer or have skills in PC game development you should check out Blizzards job offerings and consider joining their team. This game will no doubt be popular and being part of the team that develops it is a big opportunity in my eyes.

Diablo III Release Date
There is a lot of speculation about the potential release date for Diablo III. Unfortunately there is no official date just yet. The internet will obviously be filled with commentary and rumors about the Diablo III release date.
The only real way to know is to check on the official homepages for Diablo III and Blizzard.
The Diablo III release date will be posted here once it is released. I hate this part of the adventure. Waiting for the game to be released. It is suspenseful.

Diablo 3 Unique New Features. Not Seen in Diablo II.
This list is based on the limited information that Blizzard has released. Here is a list of awesome new possible features that Diablo III will have that Diablo II didn't have! Keep in mind though, these features may change before the release so don't get upset. I am too excited anyway, screw it! I love Diablo!
New Graphics!
Diablo III is powered by a new graphics engine that can display characters and hordes of monsters in lush, fully 3D environments. Powerful special-effects systems and Havok-powered physics allow for realistic object dynamics and cloth simulation, and enable players to lay waste to the minions of the Burning Hells in spectacular ways.
Character Classes!
Players will create a male or female hero from one of five distinct classes, such as barbarian, witch doctor, or wizard, each equipped with an array of spells and abilities. New customization options will provide for an even greater level of character specialization than the previous Diablo games, allowing the player to create unique characters brimming with power. There will be 5 character classes at the release of Diablo III, blizzard have stated that there will be more classes after the release.
New Quest System!
There will be story-line (lore) quests specific for each class and random quests that differ for each game play.
New Healing!
Healing orbs is a replacement of potions in Diablo III, and they will heal approx. 15-25% of life, the drop is significant lower.
New Skill Runes!
Skill runes are a unique feature in Diablo III where you can add ‘runes’ into skills to alter the skills purpose.
Destructible Environments!
The environment will be destructible in Diablo III and can be used to destroy enemies.
Inventory Upgrades!
Seems like it will be a similar system to WoW where you increase inventory size with finding new larger bags.
Waypoint Changes!
When you die you’re dropped back at the last checkpoint with a small amount of health, and the rest regenerates slowly
New Item Drop Feature!
You will only see your own items drops and nobody else will see them, also items will be generated for your class. No more noob leeching!
We are hoping that all of these great features remain in the final game. There are hints at some other incredible features as well but we cannot confirm them yet.
